A. Schulman names Gustavo Perez general manager and chief operating officer of Americas

Plastic compounds and resins supplier A. Schulman Inc (Nasdaq-GS:SHLM)
reported on Wednesday the appointment of Gustavo Perez as general
manager and chief operating officer of the Americas with effect from 1
August 2010.
Perez, in his new role, will oversee the company's strategic business
activities in North America and South America. All business unit heads
and managing directors in those regions will report directly to him. He
will continue to report to chairman, president and chief executive
officer, Joseph M. Gingo.
Most recently, Perez has worked as general manager of Masterbatch for
the company's North America operations, a position he has held since
2008.
Previously, Perez was employed as general manager, associate general
manager and finance manager, respectively, of the Mexican subsidiary of
the company.
Prior to joining A. Schulman, Perez served as an audit manager at
PricewaterhouseCoopers.
In another announcement, A. Schulman elected Roberto Lopez to the post
of business unit leader of Masterbatch for the Americas. Lopez, in his
new position, will report directly to Perez.
