INEOS Oxide, a Belgium-based producer of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide and a range of solvents and specialty chemicals, has acquired the oxo alcohol business of Arkema SA, a France-based producer of industrial chemicals.
Announcement (January 26, 2017):
INEOS Oxide has agreed to acquire the oxo alcohol business of Arkema.
The transaction include the acquisition of Arkema's stake in Oxochimie, a France-based joint venture between INEOS and Arkema engaged in producing oxo alcohols.
The acquisition will allow INEOS to enhance its global market presence in oxo alcohols, aldehydes and derivatives.
