CMAI Headlines Impressive List of High Profile Speakers at Upcoming 2009 World Petrochemical Conference

On March 24-26, 2009 Chemical Market Associates, Inc. (CMAI) will host its 24th Annual World Petrochemical Conference and Workshops in Houston, Texas. This annual event boasts over 35 industry experts as speakers, consisting of respected industry leaders from companies all over the world complemented by CMAI product experts from its global offices. In addition, panel discussions will be held both days to create an environment for an open exchange of opinions regarding future market conditions. Workshops will be held March 24th, followed by the two Conference days on the 25th and 26th.


On the first day, Keynote speaker Abdulaziz M. Further defining the outlook for major chemical industry sectors, day two will include presentations in three concurrent sessions for Aromatics & Fiber Intermediates, Olefins & Derivatives and Chlor-Alkali & Related Products. All sessions will include market insight from global CMAI consultants, who will discuss the pertinent issues facing the industry, and will be complemented by outside industry speakers. In the Aromatics & Fiber Intermediates session, Richard Gehring from Technip, U.S.A. will speak on Engineering and Construction as it relates to the aromatics markets, along with another industry representative addressing the new and changing technology for aromatics. The Olefins & Derivatives session will introduce an outside processor/converter perspective on the industry and Elizabeth de Carvalhaes, Executive President, Bracelpa, Brazil, will address the Chlor-Alkali session about the Brazilian pulp and paper industry.
