Safetek International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SFIN), a manufacturer and distributor of green technology and eco-friendly products, announced today that its Food Film Division has commenced marketing its new environmentally-friendly Safetek Professional food service film for meat, poultry, produce and frozen foods to position the company as a leading supplier of 'green' packaging products to the food packaging industry.
Commenting on Safetek's entry into the recyclable and non-toxic food film packaging market in North America, Michael J. Krantz, President of Safetek International, said, "We as a company have completed a detailed market analysis of the institutional food film market in North America. Safetek will begin the initial rollout of the food film packaging specifically to specialty retailers in addition to over 500 Organic Cooperatives in the United States. We are contacting each store manager directly to introduce Safetek's non-toxic film that caters to their environmentally conscious customers. Utilizing our non-toxic film becomes a marketing advantage to many of these specialty retailers and cooperatives."
Krantz continued, "Our business plan incorporates very competitive pricing to gain market share in the food retailer sector that is increasingly motivated by their customers who prefer to patronize grocers that have health conscious and environmentally friendly practices and products as an integral part of their corporate mission. This grass roots approach to building a brand and market share will serve us in good stead moving forward."
Krantz emphasized, "By building a strong base of end users, it will ultimately benefit our distribution in the future when these store managers start to instruct local food and packaging distributors to supply our packaging wraps. We anticipate a major ramping up of food film packaging volume as these new distributors, driven by requests from store managers, begin to use Safetek's food film packaging and subsequently order our product by the shipping container load."
New Corporate Office
Krantz noted, "Safetek will actively launch the food film marketing campaign on June 1, 2012, when the Company moves into its new 4300 square foot office, warehouse and showroom facility in Boca Raton, Florida. Our ability to stock product for immediate order fulfillment will be an added benefit in our sell through marketing efforts."

PE is slowly replacing conventional PVC films, since PVC contains toxic plasticizers (such as phthalates), stabilizers containing dangerous heavy metals (such as lead), fungicides and other toxic substances
