Quantix Increases Driver Compensation for Chemical and Plastics Divisions
January 04, 2022

North American supply chain services company Quantix said today that it will roll out targeted pay increases in its plastics and liquid chemical divisions as part of the largest driver compensation change in the company's history, totaling more than $30 million.

The company said the pay increases will allow it to stabilize and grow its driver base while continuing to meet customer needs. The pay increases also follow Quantix's significant investments made in transportation equipment, benefit and compensation packages, and bonus programs after expanding its fleet in 2021 with the acquisition of three new transportations companies.

"Drivers are the cornerstone of Quantix, and they deserve to be recognized with an industry-leading compensation package," said Quantix President and CEO, Chris Ball. "This increase allows us to attract and retain best-in-class drivers and continue to provide exceptional service and delivery to our customers."

Quantix and other transportation companies serving the chemical and plastics industry have been severely impacted by the labor shortage, inflation and supply chain issues seen over the past year, which have led to increases in driver, mechanic and warehouse wages.
