May Polypropylene Price Increase

TotalEnergies is the first producer to come out with a proposed price increase for May Polypropylene contracts.
Late Tuesday the producer issued a letter to customers saying that it will raise PP prices by $.06/lb, in addition to any change in the May PGP contract, effective May 1.
The May announcement comes as April PP contracts have yet to be settled.
LyondellBasell is the only producer to have formally announced an April price increase, which was at $.03/lb, in addition to the change in the upcoming April PGP contract.
