Polyethylene had a strong start to April as some softer domestic prices were met by eager processors ready to buy. The majority of business was evenly spread between HDPE and LLDPE, with LDPE somewhat close behind. Polypropylene trading remained very active, there was meaningful demand seen throughout the week as prices slid, and our completed volumes ran above average. HoPP was the main mover and largely outsold CoPP, but then again, CoPP supplies have been quite tight even as prices have fallen sharply.
